About this stone: Crazy Lace Agate

Crazy lace agate is a natural variety of agate (banded chalcedony, SiO₂) whose bands twist and turn in many colours. The classic material comes from the Sierra Santa Lucia in Chihuahua, Mexico, where it occurs mainly as vein agate in limestone. It is a natural stone; like other agate, beads in unusually bright colours may be dyed.
