About this stone: Azurmalachite

Azurmalachite is a natural rock made of two intergrown copper carbonate minerals: blue azurite, Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2, and green malachite, Cu2(CO3)(OH)2. Its name combines the names of the two minerals, and it is also called azurite-malachite or "bluebird". It shows bands, concentric patterns and mottling in blue and green, and is soft (Mohs 3.5 to 4).
