About this stone: Green Fluorite

Green fluorite is the green color variety of fluorite, the natural calcium fluoride mineral CaF₂. Green is one of fluorite's most typical colors, ranging from pale to deep and bluish green. Pure fluorite is colorless; studies attribute green to color centers linked to trace samarium (Sm²⁺) and to yttrium–cerium-associated centers. Fluorite has been offered as emerald, but it is a much softer, different mineral.
