About this stone: Terahertz Stone

"Terahertz" or "terahertz stone" is a trade name for a man-made material, not a natural stone or mineral. A 2022 gemmological study by Chinese testing laboratories, published in China Gems, found that the beads sold under this name consist mainly of monocrystalline silicon, the same kind of material used for semiconductors and solar cells. "Terahertz" (THz) is simply a unit of frequency; the name does not describe a mineral.
